The Brown Hen B&B, Bandon in Co Cork

I’m so very happy that we had 2 nights with Gwynyth and her delightful family at The Brown Hen. The countryside views were beautiful from the guest accommodations. Our bed and bath were nicely decorated and appointed. We loved the breakfast in the solarium with a table set with delicate pink china. The food was so spectacular we had to go back to our room and nap! Fresh eggs from the farm and fresh squeezed orange juice were amazing. Be sure you check out Gwynyth’s incredible AGA in the kitchen. Nancy and Rod  Review 10/10

Corrib View, Galway City in Co Galway

We stayed here in May during our honeymoon – and I did not want to leave! Mary has such a sweet soul. She gave us recommendations on places to see, eat and shop. Thanks to her I purchased a Claddagh ring that I have not taken off since May 2017. Besides connecting with the host and enjoying her breakfasts; another aspect that I will never forget is how charming the location of the house was set in garden/farm area. I watched horses across the street each morning. Soothing and immersive.

Damerstown Farmhouse, Castlecomer in Co Kilkenny

Mary was a wonderful host. She made sure to put on Christmas music during breakfast, which we loved 🙂 Breakfast was delicious! The scones were exceptional. They have a beautiful garden leading up to their home. Kitty and Jacob Review 10/10

Castle Farm, Castlemartyr in Co Cork

Castle Farm was terrific; Margaret is a wonderful host. The rooms were nice and the location beautiful. The Thatched Roof Inn, just down the road, is a great place for a pint and to meet some nice folks!

Tom and Eileen’s Farm, Co Kerry

Tom and Eileen’s Farm, Castlemaine, Co KerryOur best B and B in Ireland. Seriously, these folks need the Irish B and B medals of honor for being so diligent, caring and kind. Our thanks for a wonderful two-night stay. We were treated like family.

Moher Lodge Farmhouse, Co Clare

Moher Lodge Farmhouse, Cliffs of Moher, Co ClareBest B&B of our trip. We showed up late and wet and Mary kindly offered to make us some tea and offer suggestions of where to go for dinner. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast delicious. Thank you! Victoria Viellieu

Glasha Farmhouse, Co Waterford

Glasha Farmhouse, Ballymacarbry, Co WaterfordI wish there were more than 10 stars to give for a rating. Glasha was our first B and B while traveling through Ireland. Olive sets the bar exceptionally high. As the rest of our stays at various other B and B’s were nice, nothing compares to Glasha. The home is beautiful and cosy. The view and surrounding area is breath-taking. Olive greeted us with the warmest welcome and made our stay exceptional. The pub down the street was one of my husband’s favourite places on our trip. The breakfast in the morning was unlike any other. She goes above and beyond. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay with Olive longer. I can’t wait to go back!

Oldtown Farmhouse, Co Kilkenny

Oldtown Farmhouse, Thomastowm, Co KilkennyWe arrived at the B & B the evening before the hurricane. Mary was absolutely wonderful! As a result of the storm all the roads were closed and we were unable to leave as scheduled. Mary graciously provided lunch and dinner for us, even after the power went out! She and her husband joined us for dinner and then invited us for an after-dinner drink. They were both amazing and I would gladly return to their B & B the next time we are there.

Sea Crest Farmhouse, Co Clare

Sea Crest Farmhouse, Quilty, Co ClareBy far the best night’s rest I had the whole trip! It must have been the cozy beds and the window shades. Man, I needed it! But truly a beautiful, clean home just off the WAW. I still remember the smell 🙂 Mmmmm!

SALMON LEAP FARM –  Killarney, Kerry

My mother and I truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful B&B. The family is just wonderful, suites are spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. They were super helpful in planning our tour around the Ring of Kerry. I’ve already recommended them to friends, on their upcoming trip to Ireland. This place and the wonderful family who run it helped make it a highlight of our 3-month trip through western Europe.  – Tiffany

GLENRAHA FARMHOUSE- Mullinavat, Waterford

Simply a pure real working farm family experience. Couldn’t find more politeness if we tried. The cows were great and eager to be milked as I’m sure we slowed them down.  Made it through about half and then a traditional breakfast.  Highly recommended if wanting to experience this side of life.  – Kirstin, Justin

CLONCARLIN HOUSE – Monasterevin, Kildare

Lovely place to enjoy a quiet stay. Marie is one of the nicest hosts I’ve encountered so far; she did all she could to make our stay as pleasant as possible. An “old fashion” hospitality really missed now a days. The room was up to our expectations, just as the premises. We’ll definitely come back as soon as we need a break from the big city!  – Stéphane B. & Estella V.

BEECHGROVE FARMHOUSE – Shannon, Clare

We had a wonderful stay at Beechgrove. It was conveniently placed near Bunratty Folk Park and Castle. The room was so spacious and provided excellent views of the Host’s farm and animals. We enjoyed the breakfast and the hostess’ dinner recommendation. – Stephen and Patty

COOLAKAY HOUSE – Enniskerry, Wicklow

Coolakay House was a lovely stop on our Ireland trip. Yvonne was so warm and welcoming, and made a wonderful breakfast each morning. The staff was extra helpful as well! We stayed here for three nights and took the bus in to Dublin both days from Enniskerry. It was a nice, quiet retreat to return to each night after the bustling city day trips. Would love to stay again someday! – Sarah DesJardins
